Testing the strength of your abs
Having strong abs/ core muscles are important for maintaining a good posture, warding off back aches and for performing certain exercises correctly.
To do this test, just lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Engage your abs and curl your shoulders and neck off the ground - moving your hands up your thigh to the knee. Breathe out when curling upwards. Roll back down through the spine - don’t just let yourself fall backwards. Do as many of these are you can in one minute? Try keeping to the same pace.
Let me know how you get on!
